The Living Sustainably and Independently, Sensible Prepping & Transitioning, Hands-on, Solar-Powered, All You Can Grow WORKSHOP:
Local authors Cam and Michelle Mather provide a complete overview to living a typical North American lifestyle powered entirely by renewable energy and prepping for the challenges of an uncertain future. They examine heat, hot water and electricity generation along with food production and storage with the theme of minimizing their impact on the planet. The full day workshop includes lunch and a chance to network with similarly minded individuals.

The topic for this Communities in Bloom Water Wise Gardening Seminar is Achieving Weather Resilient Gardens. Speakers include Steve Sottile, Utilities Kingston and Kingston Hydro, Anne Maxwell, Garden Innovations and Paul VandenEngel, Western Landscaping. The seminar will be held in Rona Hall. Please bring a non-perishable food item with you for the Partners in Mission Food Bank in lieu of an entrance fee.
