SWITCH is an incorporated, non-profit association in the Kingston, Ontario region working to position Kingston and it's surrounding area as a leading center for sustainable energy. SWITCH brings together innovative businesses, researchers, educators, public sector institutions, professionals, and students to work together at the forefront of sustainable economic development. SWITCH is the brand that connects you to Kingston's future.

In order to raise funds for charitable programs in the environmental sector undertaken by SWITCH, the Community Foundation for Kingston & Area has partnered with SWITCH to create the SWITCH Sustainable Energy Future Fund. SWITCH is not a registered charity, however, many of it's activities serve the general public and work to preserve the natural environment. Funds donated to this project will only be used to pay for documented expenses incurred by activities of SWITCH in the environmental sector that qualify as charitable activities, as determined by the Community Foundation for Kingston & Area. By contributing to this fund you can help SWITCH expand it's range of activities that promote renewable energy and energy conservation.

To donate, there are several options available:

1. By cheque, made out to the Community Foundation for Kingston & Area, specifying in the memo line or in a corresponding letter that the funds are to be directed to SWITCH Sustainable Energy Future Fund.
